What we need for a friendly, safe park

DSCN0754 DSCN0751The local community turned out in force for Brockwell Dog Show 2015 on Sunday 12th July. Only months earlier the annual Show had been faced with cancellation following the unexplained withdrawal of Lambeth Officer support.

DSCN0747 DSCN0767A number of local residents were determined that the Show must go on and approached BPCP for support to make this happen. They led on the event delivery – creating fantastic new publicity posters and convening a panel of celebrity judges, while BPCP provided operational support, advice and infrastructure.

Unprovoked dog attack

MD024A4Another dog was subject to an unprovoked attack in the Park today.

The assailants were three pitbull terriers which were not muzzled and off the leads. One of the dogs is black and grey, one is brown and the other is light brown.

The victim is a former winner at Brockwell Dog Show and is recovering from its injuries. The attack, which took place near the exit to Brockwell Gate development, has been reported by its owner who wants other pet owners to be aware.
