Mark Bennett RIP

BPCP is very sad to learn of the death of Lambeth Mayor, Cllr Mark Bennett, today.

Mark was a great supporter of community activities in Brockwell Park. Whether it was helping to judge Brockwell Park’s much loved annual Dog Show, chairing the First World War commemorative meetings, presiding over the Friends of Brockwell Park’s tree dedication or paying a visit to our community stalls at the Lambeth Country Show his support for Brockwell Park’s activities and its volunteers was simply outstanding.

He will be sorely missed.
