The Thomas Lynn Bristowe Memorial Lecture – 7.30pm Saturday 6th June at Brockwell Hall

bristowe_bust_120603_02BPCP and the Herne Hill Society is proud to present the first Thomas Lynn Bristowe Memorial Lecture – at 7.30pm on Saturday 6th June at Brockwell Hall.

Bristowe, MP for Norwood, put Brockwell Park into public ownership in 1892, inspiring countless lives ever since, but tragically he died at the Park’s opening ceremony on 6th June that year.

The theme of the memorial lecture is The Making of South London by historian Len Reilly and is free and open to all local residents. Refreshments can be purchased from the cafe.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
